You can also keep your wedding casual or you can decorate elegantly to transform the venue. On the downside, depending on the ranch there might not be a heating or cooling unit, electricity, or plumbing. You will most likely need to rent portable toilets for yourself and your guests. Another con is the lighting. Though it can be great for pictures during the golden hour it can become a problem as the sun goes down. Making sure that you have adequate lighting will be important.
