WHITE ROSE DAY SPA Knows HAIR AND MAKEUP
Wedding Day Hair and Beauty Tips

The key to having perfect wedding day hair is to find a style that reflects who you are. You want your hairstyle to enhance your look, and not take away from it. In order to do this, you must find a style that complements your dress, veil, and headpiece, as well as your face.

Although you may have a favorite stylist who works independently, you may want to consider a larger salon for your wedding day so your entire party can be accommodated at the same time. If you're going to remove your veil or headpiece after the wedding ceremony, make sure your hairstylist takes this into consideration when she's doing your hair---you don't want your style to become messed up when you make the transition.

Just like with your makeup, you will want to have at least one hair trial before your wedding day whether you are going to a stylist or doing it yourself. Testing out your hairstyle before the big day will help ensure you get the look you want. Your stylist will be able to tell you what types of styles will work best on your hair, considering both the length and texture of your hair, and the shape of your face. You just want to keep in mind that your hair is meant to complement your dress and not cover elements that make it unique.

You will also want to take your headpiece and veil with you so your stylist can work these accessories into the overall look of your hair. When you go for your trial, discuss with your stylist what looks will work best not only for your hair length and texture, but also for the environment of your wedding. Weather elements, such as humidity, rain, and wind will all affect the way your hair will look on your wedding day.

Face
Having a flawless face on your wedding day begins months before you say "I do." Taking care of your skin is the easiest way to guarantee your face will be radiant at your wedding.

Facials are a great way to put your freshest face forward on your wedding day. The soothing nature of these deep cleansings will not only help the look of your skin, but will also help you relax during the stressful task of planning a wedding. You'll want to discuss your specific skin type with you esthetician as she will know what is best for your face.

Probably the hardest, but most essential, part of good skin care is getting plenty of rest. This will prove to be tough, especially in the few days leading up to the wedding since you will have many last minute details to pull together. Try to get as much done as early as you can so that you can focus on keeping yourself well rested and relaxed. Make sure you have at least the day before the wedding to get some rest in order to ensure you show your freshest face on your big day.

Nails
As a final touch, it's nice to have a
professional manicure and/or pedicure the day before your wedding so they're not messed up in your rush to get to the next step of the wedding.

Don't forget to bring the appropriate color nail polish with you for your appointment. Consider having him/her give your mother, your fiancée's mother and your bridesmaids a manicure in the same color for a consistent look.
