Shortcuts and Side Dishes for Your Thanksgiving Dinner

Unless you’re a vegetarian, turkey is your main dish every Thanksgiving. However, it’s not always so easy to decide on the other dishes.  Try some of these shortcuts and recipes that we found at RealSimple.com  and Food.com for an easy and fulfilling dinner.

Shortcuts:

  • Best stuffing mix: Trader Joe’s Cornbread Stuffing Mix. It’s moist with hints of celery and onion.
  • Best Poultry Seasoning: Magic Seasoning Blends, Poultry Magic. This stuff literally is magic by saving time and leaving your lips tingling from its Cajun kick.
  • Best Cranberry Sauce (in a can): Grown Right Organic Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce. It lacks the usual watered-down texture and comes in fresh fat berries.

Side Dishes:

  • Bourbon-Cranberry Compote. Can be used as a spread or as a side dish. Main ingredients are cranberries, cinnamon, and bourbon. Click here for the recipe.
